Episodes & Event Grouping

Episodes are ITSI's way of grouping related Notable Events into a single incident timeline. When multiple services degrade during the same incident window, ITSI can automatically group their Notable Events into one Episode, giving operators a single pane of glass for the entire incident.

Episode rules define how events are grouped: by time proximity, by shared entities, by service dependencies, or by custom field matching. An episode has its own severity (inherited from the worst event), timeline, and can be assigned to an owner. This prevents operators from working the same incident independently.
