Building Glass Tables
Glass Tables are ITSI's real-time operational dashboards. Unlike standard Splunk dashboards, Glass Tables are designed for NOC (Network Operations Center) wall displays, combining service health indicators, KPI widgets, and custom images into a single visual overview.
You build Glass Tables by dragging widgets onto a canvas and connecting them to services or KPIs. Widgets change color in real-time based on KPI threshold states — green for normal, yellow for warning, red for critical.
Design Glass Tables for the "3-second rule" — an operator should be able to identify what's broken within 3 seconds of looking at the screen.
