What is ITSI?
Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is a premium Splunk app that provides end-to-end visibility into the health and performance of critical IT services. It sits on top of Splunk Enterprise and transforms raw machine data into service-centric insights.
ITSI goes beyond basic monitoring by letting you define Services composed of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). When a KPI degrades, ITSI correlates the impact across all dependent services, helping you understand the blast radius of an issue before it affects end users.
Think of ITSI as the "business layer" on top of Splunk — it translates raw metrics and logs into service health scores that executives and operations teams can act on.
