The Monitoring Console (MC, formerly DMC) provides pre-built dashboards for monitoring the health of your entire Splunk deployment. It shows indexing rate, search concurrency, resource usage, and forwarder status.
The MC pulls data from `_internal` and `_introspection` indexes. It should be configured as a dedicated, standalone search head for large environments.
